The showers are pretty good for campground showers. Everyone is friendly. It is quiet. The sunsets are beautiful.

Superb spot right on the Lake with a sandy beach. You can rent some canoes.

I've been going to Agawa Bay since I was 5 years old and I try and make it back every year. It is beautiful, rustic and untamed. You can have calm as glass water at times and 4-6 foot waves rolling in at others. Best sites are in the second loop along the beach front road. Don't listen to the bad reviews - they're generally from people who are used to city camping and don't appreciate the park for what it is. The rates are exactly the same as any other provincial park in Canada.

Very quiet on the thanksgiving weekend. Make sure you bring anchoring equipment for your tent, as it gets really windy here. Some of the sites are right on the beach. Beautiful views of Lake Superior. Also you can see the sky light up at night. So many stars. Well worth stargazing for shooting stars. Firewood and ice were reasonable rates. $14 for 2 bags of firewood and a bag of ice. Agawa pictographs are a close drive from here. Worth the trip up.
